Throwing Hatchets and Boomerangs Has Never Been This Fun!

The idea for Hatchets and Rangs came from YodaWYN. He wanted to create a game that would be simple to play yet challenging enough to keep players engaged. He also wanted to incorporate elements of strategy and skill, so players would have to use their wits and dexterity to score points and outmaneuver their opponents.
Our first step was to design the game mechanics. We decided on a target-based scoring system, where players would throw hatchets and boomerangs at different targets worth varying amounts of points. We also added power-ups that could be collected during the game to give players an extra advantage.




Next, we worked on the visual and audio aspects of the game. YodaWYN focused on world design, sound effects, and music to enhance the game’s atmosphere.
Once the game was designed and developed, we tested it extensively to ensure that it was fun and balanced. We made adjustments and tweaks based on feedback from our testers until we were satisfied with the final product.
When we submitted Hatchets and Rangs to the #minigame competition, we were thrilled to see that our hard work paid off. Winning third place was a testament to the team’s creativity, skill, and dedication to making a great game.

Overall, collaborating with YodaWYN and the rest of the team on Hatchets and Rangs was a rewarding experience. We were able to combine our individual talents and skills to create a fun and engaging game that we are proud of. We hope that players will enjoy playing Hatchets and Rangs as much as we enjoyed creating it.
